If you follow me on instagram & twitter you may have seen that I recently went on a lovely week of relaxation on the beautiful island of Rhodes. Honestly, the weather was beautiful, the island was beautiful and I really needed the break if I'm totally honest. I spent the fist half of the week totally disconnected from social media and just trying to be as present in the moment as possible. I danced traditional greek with some lovely greek ladies and a live greek band, I rode jet ski's on the sea and walked on the beach, and just generally had the best time. I also shared a lot of other moments from the trip on my instagram but having a few 'in the moment' moments honestly just made the entire trip.
Coming home though was a total adjustment. I feel like the weather completely shifted while we were away so coming home felt like we'd been away for months - Christmas decorations are starting to hit stores and we are well into autumn/winter vibes. I feel like I need a whole new wardrobe.. if only the budget allowed.
Floral detail top / Tie Up Suede Choker / Heeled Sandals / Adidas Originals T-shirt / Embroidered Jeans / Adidias Originals Gazelles / Pink Sweatshirt / Grey Culottes / Metal Cross Body Bag / Beauty Calendar
Sundays were made for online shopping... And although that doesn't stop me from browsing online throughout the rest of the week, thats exactly what I've spent a good portion of today doing.
These are just a few items that I'm currently loving from Asos. I absolutely adore the metal bag, I've been wanting one like this for a while, and lately I'm really into pinks and floral embroidery - which makes a change for me and my usually monotone wardrobe.
Let me know what your favourite item is from my wishlist and what else would be on yours?
Do you ever find when you're totally feeling your outfit you're way more confident and just generally feel like you're 'that bitch'? Yeah, that was basically my mood while strolling through the mall when I was in America recently. I'd already decided I was going to use my trip as an excuse to treat myself to a few new make-up products since I felt a little stuck in a routine of just buying the trusted favourites and not really branching out. So while I was browsing in a MAC store, initially looking for a nude shade, I came across this and was really intrigued. The most lovely assistant came over and encouraged me to try it and I actually loved it. I find it's a little high maintenance to keep it looking at it's best but I'm still totally into it.
The shade is In My Fashion, over MAC's Coffee eye pencil (used as a lip liner)
What do you guys think? Is grey a colour you'd go for? What the bravest lip colour you've tried?
I've been majorly slacking when it comes to getting blog posts prepped and posted. I wasn't happy with the look of my blog so I thought a fresh start and new look would get me back on track - so here we are. I decided to share a few of my most recent purchases to ease myself back into things.. I don't know what it is about September but I always feel like it calls for a new bag and purse. I think it stems from getting a new school bag at the start of the school year and I've just carried this into my adult life. This year my weapon of choice is this grey one from Topshop which I adore because because of the style and that it has silver hardware!
I also picked up this pink bomber which is a little out of my usual comfort zone but I think its beautiful and I've already worn it twice! (I usually don't stray too far from black and grey)
Finally this chocker had caught my eye a couple of times before payday so I couldn't leave without picking this up too.
Have you guys started shopping for the new season yet? Let me know.
